1.  She is one of the teachers for the Fair Housing Law and Policy seminar. You probably won't learn too much law in this seminar.  We spent a lot of time discussing causes and effects of housing discrimination.  Some of the case studies we covered were actually interesting.  We also took a field trip to Detroit on a Saturday morning.  I was not looking forward to this, but it was actually very interesting to learn more about the city and its history.  We had 1-2 page reaction papers each week and a 15 pager at the end.  You could do a 25 pager and get an additional credit.  Very favorable curve.  I would recommend.

2.  The best professor and mentor I have met here. She is incredibly accomplished, and deeply respected in the civil rights community. She will make great efforts on behalf of students who are looking to go into public interest law.
